Remote Conversations
This was my final degree project for the RCA. It looked at how it was possible to expand London in different ways. The idea is that through telecommunications places which are remote can establish links to industry in London more easily, removing the need for them to actually be physically near.
Set in out of town Carparks across the Country, new communcation centres are set up that facilitates business meeting which take the idea of Video conferencing further to allow for eye contact, full scale projections and the reading of body language. idea which fundamentally stop the realism and therefor success of current video conferancing technology.
As with many types of technology the business centres could also be used to facilitate other meetings between people.
