Deep Cabinet
Whilst at Edinburgh University a group of four of us designed and made a bespoke piece of furniture.
The Cabinet was conceived as a personal storage unit that is opened progressively in a series of moves. Each move reveals another section of storage within the cabinet. Due to the time based logic of the cabinet, objects more personal would be kept deeper within the cabinet, where as daily objects kept closer. The cabinet therefore could be storage device for both daily and archived objects.
