Remote Interactions
I am trying to develop software and hardware that facilitates a pixelated form of tele-presence. A person's body shape and movement will be translated into a 3d matrix of LEDs.
Using 3 images of a person taken from XY, YZ, XZ planes, the software will infer a three dimensional shape. The coordinates of this virtual object will then be converted into the real LED matrix, giving the impression of the person.
The images here, show the current stage of development. I am first testing out the output using 3d software, with a view that if it works here it can work in reality and the 3D matrix is worth manufacturing.
